Runaround
walking down the streetso many faces
people that I
in so many different places
and I
in every one of their lives
but it
it blows my mind
runaround, runaround
see what you see
everyone has somehow been changed by me
you too, think it through
everything you breathe
it doesn
to change the weather down here
we
making ripples in the water
as a friend throws a stone at the
same time as you
the ripples overlap but it
Now imagine life
and everyone
the ripples that are made from everything you say and do
are invisible but oh so huge
I stand by my word
if you
I
I
so I
you know lately i can only be one
but you change me every day that i breathe
walking down the street
you say hi to the first person you see
then they greet another
who is sweet when they talk to a friend or a brother
who later that day says hey to their mother
and she
but really you
you

butterfly effect
The butterfly effect, first described by Lorenz at the December 1972 meeting of
the American Association for the Advancement of Science in Washington, D.C.,
vividly illustrates the essential idea of chaos theory. In a 1963 paper
for the New York Academy of Sciences, Lorenz had quoted an unnamed
meteorologist's assertion that, if chaos theory were true,
a single flap of a single seagull's wings would be enough
to change the course of all future weather systems on the earth.
