Biografia de Corporation 187
Purportedly named after the Swedish police code for murder, Corporation 187 hail from the town of Linkoping and have both musical and human ties (i.e., various shared members) to similar deathly thrash bands Satanic Slaughter and Witchery. The group was initially formed as a Slayer cover band by vocalist Pelle Severin, guitarists Magnus Pettersson and Olof Knuttson, bassist Jonas Ekstrom, and drummer Robert Eng, but soon began penning original material for its albums Subliminal Fear (2000) and Perfection in Pain (2002), which introduced new members Filip Carlsson (vocals) and Viktor Klint (bass) and was preceded by European tours with Lord Bellial and the aforementioned Satanic Slaughter. ~ Ed Rivadavia, All Music Guide
